Jasper Morrison


Jasper Morrison's work is extremely varied, embracing ceramics, furniture, glass, installations, interior design, metalwork, and product design. His clients are equally diverse, and include Alessi, Antoine Betta, Cappellini, FLOS, Ideal Standard, Magis, Olivetti, Rowenta, Samsung, and Vitra. In 1997, he received the IF Product Design Award and the Ecology Award (both for work on the Hanover tram system). Other honors include being named Creator of the Year at the Salon du Meuble, Paris (in 2000), and at Maison & Objet, Paris (2001); and the Royal Designer for Industry award (2001). In 2005, Morrison founded Super Normal with Naoto Fukasawa The following year, he received an honorary doctorate from Kingston University in London.
